Dr Rui Falacho
About:
Dr. Rui Falacho is an internationally recognized prosthodontist and leading authority in digital and esthetic dentistry. He holds an Integrated Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine, a Postgraduate Degree in Experimental Pathology, and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Coimbra.
A dedicated academic, he teaches across multiple postgraduate programmes, including Adhesive Dentistry at CESPU, Prosthodontics at FMDUL, and Oral Rehabilitation at the University of Coimbra, and serves as visiting professor at several international universities.
Dr. Falacho is President of the European Academy of Digital Dentistry (EADD), the Portuguese Society of Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry, and Chairman of the Portuguese Society of Digital Dentistry. He also serves as editor for the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry.
Renowned for shaping digital dentistry worldwide, he has lectured internationally, authored numerous scientific publications and book chapters, and received multiple professional awards.
